Российский гуманитарный научный фонд (РГНФ) и Сообщество балтийских организаций Европейского консорциума, финансирующих науку, (BONUS EEIG) в соответствии с заключенным между ними договором о сотрудничестве проводят в 2015 – 2016 гг. международный конкурс совместных научно-исследовательских проектов в области гуманитарных и общественных наук. НОВОСТИ НАУКИ – РОССИЯ И МИР
РФ и ЕС планируют в ближайшие пять лет отправить на Луну посадочный модуль “Луна-27” в рамках совместной миссии Роскосмоса и Европейского космического агентства (ЕКА). Программа, целью которой является изучение возможности создания постоянных лунных поселений, станет продолжением приостановленных в 1970-е годы советских исследований Луны.

Информация об отделе науки и инноваций Посольства Великобритании в РФ

Отдел науки и инноваций при Посольстве Великобритании в РФ (SIN Russia) является частью Научно-инновационной сети Великобритании, работающей при поддержке Правительства Великобритании. Отдел занимается организацией и проведением российско-британских круглых столов, научных кафе и лекций ведущих британских ученых в Москве, Санкт-Петербурге, Екатеринбурге, Новосибирске и других городах России:оказывает поддержку и принимает участие в крупных научных фестивалях и семинарах, а также содействует участию в них ведущих британских экспертов для продвижения научных знаний и двустороннего научного сотрудничества. Деятельность Отдела науки и инноваций также направлена на привлечение большего количества российских научных публикаций в международные рецензируемые журналы, с целью способствовать дальнейшему динамичному развитию мирового научного сообщества.

В ходе 11-ого по счету заседания Министерского Совместного Российско-британского комитета по научно-техническому сотрудничеству в Лондонском Королевском обществе, при поддержке Отдела науки и инноваций Посольства, было подписано совместное заявление об укреплении сотрудничества на будущее в приоритетных для обеих стран областях: медико-биологические науки, энергоэффективность, акселераторы, физика элементарных частиц, космические и арктические исследования. В 2014-2015 годах Отдел науки и инноваций провел два российско-британских научных круглых стола: «Антарктика и Арктика в фокусе научных исследований» совместно с Арктическим и Антарктическим научно-исследовательским институтом (Санкт-Петербург) и «Новые горизонты ускорительной техники: настоящее и будущее ярких источников синхротронного излучения» совместно с Институтом ядерной физики имени Г.И. Будкера (Новосибирск), с участием известных британских и российских ученых:

В 2014 году, благодаря содействию Отдела науки и инноваций, в Москве впервые прошла Российско-британская неделя химии Королевского химического общества Великобритании, на которой особое внимание уделялось теме публикации статей в ведущих научных журналах и вопросам «открытого доступа» научных публикаций (Open Access). В сентябре 2015 года в Лондонском Музее науки открылась уникальная космическая выставка «Космонавты. Рождение космической эры», которая собрала под одной крышей более 150 редчайших российских и советских экспонатов, прежде не покидавших пределы России. Отдел науки и инновации Посольства принимал участие в организации этого проекта с самого начала, помогая Музею науки установить контакты с ключевыми представителями российских космического и научного сообществ.

There are 5 Clusters in Skolkovo covering the following technology areas: energy-efficient technologies, information technologies, biomedical technologies, nuclear technologies, space technologies and telecommunications.

At the meeting on October 30 we would like to discuss Skolkovo opportunities to support world class research and development of innovative technologies and their commercialization for foreign scientists, engineers, innovative entrepreneurs. In cooperation with the Skolkovo Foundation foreign start-ups and innovative companies can gain access both to innovation support instruments and resources in Russia and to the local market.

The Skolkovo Institute of Science & Technology (Skoltech) ,Moscow is recruiting scientists for its faculty in the following main areas: innovation, IT, biomed, energy, space, nuclear, structural materials & manufacturing, and computationally intensive science.
Types of appointments:
– Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors who have tenure track positions and normally are in full time residence in Moscow.
– Professors and Associate Professors of the Practice are distinguished practitioners from industry, who hold term appointments and normally spend at least 50% of their time on the campus.
– Adjunct Professors, Associate and Assistant Professors, who hold term appointments, and are generally not a full time resident on the campus.
– Affiliate Professors and Associate Professors are honorary faculty positions created for engaging highly active faculty from CREI Partners who contribute to Skoltech in research, education and/or innovation.

The Russian Council for International Affairs (RCIA) has released a report within the framework of their project “International Science & Technology Cooperation in Russia”
The report gives a wealth of background information and aims to trigger a discussion on the issue of openness of science in Russia and on creating auspicious conditions for its development. RCIA welcomes comments on the report from the Russian-speaking science & technology professionals.

For RuSciTech Association the main highlight of this month was the RuSciTech Forum 2014,  which brought together at Arizona State University over seventy Russian-speaking academics, researchers, technology innovators and entrepreneurs from across the globe. This second international conference of the Association of Russian-Speaking Science and Technology Professionals was dedicated to “International Collaborations in Science, High Technology and Education”.

The Forum was opened by the Consul General of the Russian Federation in San-Francisco Mr Sergey V. Petrov and greeted by representatives of Arizona State University. The summary of the RuSciTech Forum 2014’s conclusions and photographs can be found in the “Summary” section of the website. Please let us know if you have any comments and suggestions by emailing us at info@ru-scitech-forum.org. Presentation slides are available in the “Speakers” section.

The Forum participants provided organisers with a very positive response and supported the idea to continue this series of Forums. If you have suggestions regarding a potential location for the next RuSciTech Forum, please let us know on info@ru-sci-tech.org.

We hope to see you at the next RuSciTech Forum! (watch this space!)

Also, the Forum participants suggested promoting success stories of collaborations with Russia, involving Russian-speaking science and technology professionals living abroad. Hence, we would like to hear examples of these from you, which we intend to publish on the RuSciTech web site.
